A lovely, very interesting piece.  This kickplate has come from a Ford GT race car and is framed with copper wire which is used in making engine components.  These both have been set in resin.  The bangle is rhodium plated for extra strengh.  It is slightly adjustable by gently pushing the side rails of the bangle either inward or outward to secure fit.
